Early Closing Conditions

ELIGIBILITY for two and three year olds - 2008                                                                         All foals must be sired by the stallion registered with Ohio State Racing Commission. 

NOMINATIONS Fee $25.00 payable by February 15, 2008                                                             If any colt or filly changes gait at any time after it has been nominated, it may be transfered to the race at which gait it has adopted, and all payments will follow to that race. 

SUBSTAINING Fee $25.00 payable by April 15, 2008

MEMBERSHIP: Each OWNER must be a member of O.C.R.A. to make nominations.                      $25.00 each owner payable when makig the nomination February 15, 2008   

ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP for Non-Owners $15.00 each between February 15th and end of race season. Each Member and associate member will recieve a membership card in May which will admit one person and car to the fairs on race days.

Starting Fee $75.00 payment at the time of declaration. The entry fee must be paid on all horses drawn in to race, even if the horse is scratched. Declarations to race will close at     10:00 a.m. -2- (two) days before the scheduled race. In the event more than 9 horses are declared  in to start, the race may be divided and raced in divisions and each division raced for an equal share of the total purse. Each division will race only one heat. All Races mile dashes. ORC/USTA rules will govern all races will exceptions.

Money Divisions:      50%--25%--12%--8%--5%                                                                              In the event there are less than 5 starts in the event, the money distributed in each heat shall be as follows:      

Four to Start: 55%--25%--12%--8%                                                                                     

Three to Start: 60%--28%--12%                                                                                                  

Four to Start: 65%--35%                                                                                                            

One to Start: 100% but horse must start and go over course

TROPHIES will be awared to: Owners of colts and fillies winning the most heats in each class, to the driver winning the most heats in each class, and the driver winning the must heats in the circuit. TROPHIES Donated by: Miami Valley Trot Assoc., Darke County H.H.A., Greene County H.H.A., Clermont County H.H.A., Success Acres Inc., Midland Acres, Fayette County Fair, Lebanon Trotting Club, Hagemeyer Farms and Woebkenberg Starting Gate.
