      The Signature Series is a late closing event with no nominating fee for horses 4 years old and up. Declarations for all Signature Series races shall be taken 3 days prior to the event. Please referance the speed program of each individual fair for conditions.                                                     

      A cash bonus of $2,000 for 1st, $1,000 for 2nd, $500 for 3rd will be awarded for each gait to the horses with the most points accumulated during the series. If a horse changes ownership during the series, the owner at the time the series is over is eligible for the cash bonus

     Accumulated points remain with the horse. In the event of a tie in the points standings, the bonus award will be divided evenly. In the event of a dead heat, points will be awarded to each horse based on the actual finish.

     The point system is as follows: Starting -5, Win -5, Second-4, Third-3, Fourth-2, Fifth-1. Points for cash are awarded at all Fairs participating in the Signature Series in cluding Delaware.

     Points accumulated October 2008 at Lancaster, Ohio, Fairfield County Fair, will be the starting point of the 2009 Signature Series  

     The Singnature Series Executive Committee will make final determination of any disputes and/or interpretations of the rules in a timely manner.
